Han Chen is Gold Medalist at the 2013 China International Piano Competition and a prizewinner at the 2018 Honens International Piano Competition. A multi-year colleague with Metropolis Ensemble (a NYC-based orchestra I have worked with since 2006), Han is a fearless and thoughtful artist who brings a spirit of joy and inclusivity to every creative project.
In 2023, Han and I reimagined his web ecosystem using SquareSpace to transform the brand with modern vibes and efficient templates that can easily adapt and grow as his career continues to soar to new heights. We collaborated simultaneously on both his website upgrades and a Metropolis-commissioned solo recital at National Sawdust that featured 18 world premiere works alongside Ligeti’s iconic piano etudes, to great acclaim:
